Only experienced canvas & upholstery fabricators teach our courses. Our instructors are also active in the canvas shop in order to keep up with changing trends.
Certified Master Fabricator and founder of the Custom Marine Canvas Training Workshops, Kathie Widing (retired) has more than 30 years experience in the trade and is a charter member of the Marine Fabricators Association. Kathie passed her vast knowledge onto the owners of Northcoast Marine Specialties so that we could continue teaching her techniques which are admired around the world.
Northcoast Marine Specialties is owned by two brothers, Roger Griffin & Russ Griffin. The Griffin brothers are known for their advanced canvas designs and strive to teach students the latest techniques of canvas fabrication.
